Introduction to the job
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for scheduling the flow of all inbound and outbound into customer fabrication (fab) cleanrooms. As a Logistics Coordinator within ASML, you will ensure company and customer materials arrive on-time & in-full for routine maintenance activities. You will assist in scheduling dock access, preparing paperwork, coordinating delivery trucks & signoff of shipments for high value assets. This is a hands on role that requires stakeholder engagement on various levels, as well as routine on-site presence in the factory to ensure proper accountability, safety & handover of goods.
Role and responsibilities
- Assist in the planning of materials movements with project Coordinators and Engineers
- Maintain a schedules of deliveries towards customer cleanrooms from 3PL facilities & ports
- Secure rigging and dock time with 3rd party trades via excel & capacity planning software
- Complete pre-movement paperwork & post-movement files to customers for payment
- Look up product weight and dimensions in ERP system (SAP) to determine lifting requirements
- Identify shortages and quality issues as required during material intake with rigging teams
- Identify and implement improvements in coordination with a central program team.
- Ensure all customer housekeeping requirements are satisfied
- Comply with all safety requirements and maintain a strong safety culture in the team. Must have a safety-first mentality through proactively speaking up about concerns, following PPE requirements and setting an example for others to follow
- Starting time varies depending on delivery schedule, must be flexible to start between 7-9am
Education and experience
- Leaving Certificate Required
- Experience using Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint)
- Basic Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP) desired
Skills
- Looking for a strong safety minded, enthusiastic person with can do attitude
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving ability
- Must have excellent work ethic with strong communication skills to engage with both the customer and internal teams.
- Full clean drivers license
Other information
- Logistics Experience Preferred
- Cleanroom, semiconductor, manufacturing or mechanical industry experience is a benefit
